Buhari writes National assembly to confirm New Chiefs

President Muhammad Buhari has written a letter to the National assembly to confirm the 4 new Military Chiefs he appointed this week after accepting the resignation and retirement of the former Chiefs.

Special adviser to the President on National assembly matters, Babajide Omoworare has supported the President as he said in a statement that President Muhammad Buhari request is in compliance with Section 18 (1) of the Armed Forces Acts Cap.A.20 laws of the federation of Nigeria.

He furthermore said that Presidential request from the assembly is a confirmation that He has no request of bypassing the assembly on the appointments as formerly alleged by critics of his adminstration
