Chelsea were in midweek action against Wolverhampton wanderers on Wednesday evening. The blues were looking to kick off new headcoach Thomas Tuchel's era with a win against Nuno Espirito's men who have recently been in poor form.
The game began with the home side seeing more of the ball as they looked to press the away side into their own half. Nuno's men were however solid at the back and they also caused the blues quite a few problems on the break although both team were unable to find an opening goal in the first half of the game.
The second half of the game saw both teams also evenly matched with the game becoming more like an end to end encounter.
Both sides were however unable to find their way through either goalkeepers with the game ending in a goalless stalemate.
Burnley also staged an impressive win at home to Aston Villa as goals from Ben Mee, Dwilght Mc Neil and Chris wood secured a crucial victory for the home side.
Here's how the Premier league table looks like after Chelsea drew and Aston Villa won.
The first four teams at the top of the table remain unchanged from yesterday with only Liverpool dropping to 5th place on the table.
Tottenham are 6th on the table with Aston Villa climbing up to 7th position with Everton also coming in behind on 8th position.
